Celebrating 35 years of exhibition at 16 Hazelton Avenue, Loch Gallery
is pleased to present Brian Jones' newest group, "Pastimes". A
quintessential example of what Jones does so well, "Pastimes" reflects
his figures' activities as they ‘pass the time' while mirroring life in
Canada during the 50's and 60's calling to mind a word play on the
phrase "past times". Jones' strong narrative quality touched with
subtle humor links the artist and the viewer to common experiences and
nostalgic memories.
