Sculptor Peter Sawatzky's Monumental Bronze of Seal River Crossing has now 4 of the 5 editions sold.

Business leader Hartley Richardson hopes to put his company's newly acquired Ivan Eyre painting on display in Winnipeg. Richardson's longtime dealer, David Loch, purchased the piece for $255,000, more than three times the estimated price. Richardson emphasized that the purchase was made not on his behalf but for the corporate collection of his family-run business.

Mountain Ash, Grace Lake, was acquired by Loch Gallery in Calgary from a man in Scotland whose father-in-law had unsuccessfully tried to sell it at a garage sale for five pounds.

One of the country’s most successful and well-known galleries is planning to open in Calgary this weekend.
