Biography

Barbara Pratt was born in St. John's, Newfoundland in 1963. She received a Bachelor's degree in English from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia during which time she began developing her skill in drawing and painting. Pratt’s recent work has been influenced by fashion photography and the colours and patterns of haute couture design.

Barbara Pratt has had a number of solo exhibitions and has also been featured in numerous group exhibitions in public galleries.
